Welcome

Natural Manners Horsemanship
is dedicated to building your confidence and your level of enjoyment with your horse.

Hi, my name is Michelle Howard and welcome to my website! I am not just a Classical Dressage Nut and Natural Horsemanship Instructor, I am also a Mustang Mentor for new Wild BLM Mustang adopters, or anyone having trouble with thier adopted mustang. I also rescue and rehabilitated abused, neglected and unwanted horses, then find them good homes.

Please take a tour through the website. There are many Photo’s, Videos, and Blog entries to entertain and lift your spirits on even the cloudiest of days. They are scattered all over the place depending on what your fancy may be. I also am humbly sharing all the details of my Parelli Auditions, including official scorecards complete with assessors comments. My blog is a no holds barred diary of my ups and downs, fears and achievements, and of course…..My Opinions.

So please, look around and Enjoy!

I offer basic horseback riding and Dressage lessons in beautiful Valley Springs CA, at an affordable price. I also am willing to travel to neighboring towns, such as Stockton, Modesto, Oakdale, Sacramento etc. My techniques can be intermixed with most of the popular home study systems available and all traditional disciplines. So if you are studying a system and don’t have access to one of their certified clinicians, you can still get the help you need when you hit a road block. My specialty is Difficult horses and Dressage. So if you are having behavioral problems with your perfect Dressage horse or want to do Dressage more naturally while staying true to classical principles, you've come to the right place.

I teach you how to play with your horse using natural and classical techniques to understand the horse’s language, and how to earn your horses respect. I don’t believe in showing the horse who is the boss, rather I teach you how to be a good leader for your horse.

If you are new to horses and don’t know what to do, you have come to the right place. I know you have a dream and I want to help you get started on the right path. I want you and your new horse to be safe and have fun.
Contact me today to see how we can help you.
